Huge Shout Out...

We are thrilled to announce that we have received a Cambridge & North Dumfries Community Foundation Grant for $1,200 from the School Sisters of Notre Dame Legacy Fund, to provide support for the Christmas Food and Gift Hamper program.

A few times a month, we partner with a local grocery store around town and reach out to our community! We bring our big empty van out bright and early in the morning with the goal of stuffing it full of nutritious items. It’s an opportunity for our community to engage with our friendly volunteers and ask questions about the food bank and also a convenient way to donate our most needed items of the month. It’s also the easiest way to donate fresh produce to the Food Bank, as you can drop your donations off on your way out of the store to our truck, which goes directly back to the food bank at the end of the day. This month, we’re partnering with Walmart Canada for their Fight Hunger! Spark Change! Campaign. more info..
